Early card of soccer legend Branislav "Branko" Zebec. Rookie card?
There is very little information on these Yugoslavian released cards that were produced in the early 1950s. The maker of these cards is unknown. This was a multi-sport set that also included many soccer cards. The same type of cards can be found with variations on font and number design, and it is thought they were released seasonally throughout the 1950s. They were issued as sheets and distributed to candy stores, who then cut the cards down and gave them away in candy bags as prizes.
